    Odd Couple (TV show)
When Odd Couple was on TV regurarly, it pretty much went by unnoticed in our household. This TV show was made after the hit movie of same name with Walter Matthau and Jack Lemmon.

But after buying the TV show on DVD recetly, the show does kind of grows on you. The writing is very smart and does not get dumb down with silly jokes and pranks. It is pretty much a show for adults.

It starred Tony Randall as Felix (neat freak) and Jack Klugman as Oscar (sloppy and casual.) as two divorced men sharing a Manhattan apartment. The show struggled in the Nielsen ratings but was renewed every season due high summertime reruns ratings. It ran for total of 5 seasons.

I picked up each season for $6, so it is highly recommended :)

    Thanks John
If you remember ABC also aired new version of The Odd Couple with two African-Americans this time back in 1982. It only ran for half seasson. I saw couple of episodes on BET channel and really was not that funny. One of actor was Son of Sanford&Son show.

I tend to be more Felix at work, and more Oscar at the house :)

Remember when Felix defended Oscar in court, and brought out a blackboard to illustrate his now-immortal line: "When you ASSUME, you make an ASS/ (out of) U/ (and) ME!

    Great stuff for the time!
