One of my favourite TV scenes of all time

I just looked this up on You Tube to show a friend and thought that I'd post it here. This scene always cracks me up. Just try saying Rock Paper Scissors Lizard Spock three times. Do it! I dare you. I'll bet that they didn't do this in one take!

Someone needs to stop being Spock. How will we choose who?

Man, that was a funny show when Phil was on. Went south quickly after his death. I'm not an Andy Dick fan either, but he did play well on that show.

I really like the Canadian on the show. He was really funny in the Kids in the Hall.

That episode was on TV last week! My favourite Newsradio episode is the one where Phil Hartman is in a mental institution. Jon Lovitz guest stars as another patient in that episode. I didn't like him as a regular on the show. But he was pure brilliance in that one episode.

The Canadian guy is Dave Foley...a very funny comedian.

Wish I could find a link, but one of my favorite scenes is from the Mary Tyler Moore episode, when Ted (the egotistical anchorman) has a heart-attack on air. After recovering, he has an epiphany: life is special. Everything around him becomes highly significant. He makes a nuisance of himself, urging his colleagues and friends at the studio to consider his renewed outlook, including regarding granules of salt. After awhile, life goes on and Ted returns to his blase ways. In the meantime, his mates have taken notice of his sentiments and at one point gather together at the station manager's office to watch a beautiful sunset. Ted walks by as they stand, in awe, at the window. They see him and wave him over: "Hey, Ted! Check it out! A beautiful sunset!" Ted takes a look and waves it away dismissively. "Yeah, whatever," he says as he pushes on, into the newsroom and another day.
