TV show DVDs in your collection

I thought it would be kind of fun to list TV show DVDs we have in our collection. I tend to buy TV shows from 70s and 80s for nostalgic reason, being funny and most importand-no commercials

    Three's Company: Season 4, 5, 6 and 8
    Sanford and Son: Every season
    Good Times : Every season
Married with Children : Season 3, 4 and 5 as that show lost steam afterward.
Gomer Pyle: 2nd and 5th season.

    Bossom Buddies : First season
    The Fugitive : Second season.
    Hogans's Heros : 5th season
    Wild Wild West: Last season
Thats My Mama : First season.

Whats Happening : All three seasons.
    Hawaii Five-O: Third season.
    Flintstone : 2nd, 3th and 5th season.
Give Me a Break : First season
All in the Family: Second sesaon

The Little Rascals, a set of DVD's withall episodes
    Speed Racer first season
    Pinky & the Brain
24, first season. A store was handing out DVD samples of two episodes and I had to buy the set to see what happened
    South Park, 2nd season

We should do another thread for movie collections, for instance, I have a Frankie Avalon DVD set with all the Beach movies with Annette, the Vacation series, Matt Helm collection, Deano is very cool.

You fell for the oldest trick in the world

Animation shows such as South Park you metioned can look amazing on dvd. I also have Woody Woodpecker and Tom and Jerry cartoons on DVD and picture quality is nothing short of stunning.

And good idea for movie collections thread.

    Question

The Carol Burnett show "anyone" that's one wicked; one of wickedest gut busting series, especially the ones with Tim Conway's "who ever watch some of these outtakes, try this one (the Elephant story)

that, and cheers is the only older TV flicks in my collection, but I do have a bunch of TV stuff, "speaking of which sometimes looking at the shelves makes me wonder if its a wast of $$$$$.

I only have one TV show on DVD. I don't have cable(or Dish of any sort), so I don't watch a whole lot of TV shows. There was a bunch of talk about Prison Break, so I rented the first season on DVD and couldn't stop watching. I bought the rest of them.

(I don't own Season One, I guess I should pick that up just to complete the collection)

    Great topic, Smokey

We have a fair number if you include miniseries as well as regular shows. Here are some in no particular order ...

Tinker, Taylor, Soldier, Spy, and Smiley's People:

The Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy (2005):

    Red Dwarf:

    Firefly:

    The Civil War:

    La femme Nikita:

Planet Earth, and The Blue Planet:
    (DVD)

    More to follow ...

    Thanks everybody

Good call on Carol Burnett show and In Living Color as I don't have these

Also to like to have newer TV shows such as Heros, Prison Break, Rome, Planet Earth or maybe Lost, but as 3LB mentioned-they can be expensive if not bought on sale.

BTW Feanor, I like your style of posting

Space: 1999 (Set 1) - unfortunately, the original dvd sets were not broken up into seasons. This set includes the first 6 episodes. I've debated for years whether to follow up with more. Loved this as a kid but I was a little frustrated with the limited number of episodes in each set.

Twin Peaks Gold Box (complete series with 2 versions of the pilot) - waited for this one for a long time. Great stuff!

Arrested Development Seasons 1, 2 & 3 - at the time, it was cheaper to buy each season separately. It's a shame this lasted only 3 seasons.

Mad Men Seasons 1, 2 & 3 - This was a must-have while we were waiting to get AMC in HD.

Breaking Bad Seasons 1 & 2 - The wife and I are watching re-runs of season 3 to work our way to season 4 which starts soon!

Speed Racer episodes 1-11 (nice rubber tire packaging).

Family Guy The Freakin' Sweet Collection - 5 "hand-picked" episodes.
