Looks like a some good ones Smoke. Larry Crowne has gotten a lot press as Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts have been doing the talk show circuit.

Harry Potter is on the list for sure. Haven't missed one yet. Our friends wanted us to go opening night, but the last time we did that we had to sit in the 3rd row. Not fun.

Saw the Cowboys and Aliens preview when we went to see Green Lantern and it looks really wild. Sort of like the episode of Star Trek when they wind up at the OK Corral.

Now that I'm retired, I hope to catch more movies. The senior citizen matinees are only $6.00

    Thanks Jack
Of all the Harry Potter movies, the first one was good but pretty much lost me after that. Maybe they go out with a bang with last one in the series. The Sinbad movie look kind of interesting and hopefully they follow the same story lines previous Sinbad movie did with alot of strange creatures and exotic settings.

Cowboys and Aliens will probably be on my list so as Captain America. Let's see how they hold up with audiences and critics. But I am still surprise Disney waited 35 years to bring Winnie the Pooh back to big screen since they already have built-in audience.

With the Harry Potter movies, you really need to read the books and then you become hooked. She puts so much in the books, that the movies can loose you if you're not familiar with the story.

Think the last novel I read was Godfather by Mario Puzo back in "86. And that was before I seen the movie. Although the movie version is excellent on its own right, but it did not match the complexity, atmosphere and charactor develpment of book.

I am guessing it is the same thing with Harry Potter books vs the movie version.
