    Favorite Jim Carrey movies
Jim Carrey IMO is probably one of better comedy actors that can also pull off dramatic roles with ease. But resume of his latest films has not been that great. Thses are some of my favorites films along his long career.

    Ranked by release date:

Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls: He got his big start in films with Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, but I like its sequel better.

Batman Forever: One of most memorable villain of batman series.

Liar Liar: A lawyer in court that can not lie. Some very funny moments.

Truman Show: Probably his best dramatic performance, it showcase premises of reallity TV.

    Jack in Wilmington
Liar Liar and Bruce Almighty are two that I'll sit down and watch at any point in the movie and I'll know I'll be entertained.

Me, Myself & Irene kind of surprised me. I like it. The Cable Guy has its moments when Matthew Broderick's not whining about something.

Many comedy actors fall flat on the big screen, unless that is where they started. When we have been exposed to the on stage 20min-60min standup we kinda expect the same in the movie role. Robin Williams is a classic example most of the movies he played in were let downs compared to his standup routines. Mrs. Doubtfire and Good Morning Vietnam was as good as it was going to get. In Jim Cary case he will never be as funny as he was on the Livin Colors skits he did. But the Mask was about as close as it will get.

Me neither. Carrey's narcissism always seems to come through.

I liked him in Truman and Bruce Almighty. He was pretty good in Eternal Sunshine and Yes man as well.
