Bladerunner in 5.1?

Does anyone know the latest on a re-release of Bladerunner? Seems like about 6 months or so ago I heard a remastered version was coming out.

A three-DVD set was supposed to come out two years ago to coincide with the film's 20th anniversary. Supposedly, it's done and Ridley Scott cut a new definitive version of the movie, which would be the fourth version of the film that I've seen. (the "director's cut" on the current DVD is actually the third version of the movie that I've seen; Scott's original workprint was put into very limited release in 1991 and its success led to the wider "director's cut" release in 1992) But, the film's right now in legal limbo. It's been rumored for release as long as I've owned a DVD player, but I haven't heard anything new for about a year now.
