Share your favorite internet radio stations

    hey guys,

I am going to compile a list of high bandwidth internet radio stations as a resource for the site. I am always looking for new radio stations, so I thought it would be cool if we all shared. Because we're audio quality snobs, lets try and focus on stations that are 96k, 128k or better.

I have a few that I listen to, but here are some of my favs:

    KEXP - "indie" rock - 128k

WCPE - Classical - 96k but good classical

    WEMU - Jazz, Classical, NPR - 128k

    dublab - ecletic, electronic - 128k

Share what you've got! Note that these are all compatible with iTunes, my player of choice.

    Great idea eric!

http://www.radioparadise.com/ - little bit of everything alt, college, eclectic, rock. If I need to buy a CD I start listening here to get ideas.

http://www.wbur.org/ -- all news/talk NPR when I need to find out what's going on. One of the better NPR News streams.

I used to listen to kcmu before they became kexp. Still like kexp when I can get a stable stream.

I'll have to try WEMU, the playlists look great!
edit: the WCPE playlists look great too! Good suggestions!

    thanks

I listen to a lot of this station to get my ambient fix:

There are other Radio IO stations that are just as good for whatever genre you're into.
There's an audiophile born every minute. Congratulations; you're right on time.

playlist style streaming audio. It takes awhile to build up your profile, so you can listen to radio royalty free, but once you do there is an infinite number of stations to choose from. The only problem is that you tend to run into the really popular songs wherever you go, but at least you can skip.
