Naim CD Player

    I'm in the process of building my new 2-channel system. So far I have purchased Fidelity Acoustics RFM-2 loudspeakers, and a Krell KAV-400xi integrated. When I first auditionned these loudspeakers I was absolutely blown away by the Naim CDX2, which is of course well beyond my pricepoint.

    My dealer is gearing me towards a Naim CD5i. Would this be a good match for my system? Any other recommendations around $1,000 to $1,700 Canadian?

    Another one to consider is the Rega Apollo.
