    Greetings
    Hi all,
I found the site today while researching all things audio, looks like a fun place!

I've recently had my Nakamichi TA 3A serviced and unpacked my Sony PS-X6 after getting re-enthused about vinyl after an absence several years.
The speakers I'm using are a pair of Advent cabinets converted to a three-way system and refitted with new drivers.

I'd like some advice on replacing the stock Sure Pro 8 cart and stylus that came on the TT since I'm feeling a need for an upgrade.
There are so many choices/brands and I have no experience with any of them, let alone how to make sure I get a good match other than choosing a MM cart.
Unfortunately there is a budget to consider - I don't have thousands or even hundreds to spend but I do want the best sound I can get for my money.
    Any thought/suggestions?
    Thanks in advance.

Hi, welcome to the forum. For a good performing budget cart I'd look at Ortofon, you can start around $50.00 and go to thousands in their brand.
