Hard to beat the Parts Express cables. Every bit as good as the overpriced 'boutique' places at 1/5 the cost.

I know, I know the post is old.

    Try

    http://www.usedcable.com/

Connectors might tarnish, gold might wear off but the wire doesn't age, buy used, save a bunch.

    More choice cheapies

    excellent suggestions thus far.

Axiom the speaker company makes good speaker wire and it is cheap. Their unterminated 12 ga equiv. multi strand speaker cable is 90 cents a foot.
KnuKonceptz makes the best cheap analog interconnects I have heard ( Krystal ) at 12 bucks for a 1 meter pair. Their digital connectors are probably good also. Their most expensive stuff is still cheaper than name brand entry level. A couple of options.
