    subwoofer hook up

    hi,

i'm a newbie so forgive me if my question sounds stupid...
what's the best way to connect my subwoofer to receiver?
Do I need to split the mono out from my receiver and connect it to the 2 line in (L & R) of the subwoofer or should i directly connect it to the Left (in) instead?

    Your comments please..Thanks in advance

    Either will work fine

You may realize a slight increase in the signal going into the sub by using the "Y" connector but it won't increase it's power. Just the position of the level control.

Your manufactrurer's instructions should offer some insight as to what they recommend.
