    Subwoofer Cable
    Is a standard old RCA cable good enough to connect a subwoofer from my receiver or do those expensive sub cables make a difference?

    Yes, good ol' coax will work fine.

    Yes, you can use the old RCA or the coax suggested above :) Convert the cable TV cable to sub cable. Great and inexpensive.
