    interconnects for preamp to amp?

after buying an integra DTC 9.8 and an Adcom GFA 7807 amp im looking to get better cabling to connect the two. Im using elcheapo RCA connects from walmart for now. can someone recomend some apropriate cables ? I need 5 cables about 9 feet in length. looking for something apropriate for the cost of these 2 units. im not looking for bargain basement cables (i have them already) nor something super high end.

I haven't heard them, but Blue Jeans Audio cables seem popular for the medium cost applications. I used to use Howegrown Audio, I'm not sure they're still around, but I do remember last I looked their prices had crept up.

Also, consider used; visit Audiogon. and "The Cable Company".

I just got a pair of blue jeans cables audio interconnect. They are well constructed no bull**** cables with good canare connectors. I have heard blue jeans cables to be one of the best values around. You may already know this but monster is probably not the best way to go..overpriced may I add. I would go with blue jeans, they were a step up from my acoustic research cables. Good shielding, low capitance, and add a little air to the sound. Overall a solid product. Doubt they would disappoint you. Did you need 5 cable pairs or 5 ind. cables?

I'll ditto the recommendation, but my digital cable was downright bright at first. I ran an older CD player as transport for days to the DAC to hurry the break in process.

I also agree with bluejean cables but you may want to check out www.hcmaudio.com they run sales on AudiQuest cables all the time.

5 individual cables... plus a better sub cable I ended up getting some blue jeans cables...very good value indeed.
