HDMI submerged in water

Hi all,

I just found an HDMI cable that was submerged in water, then frozen in solid ice for about 2 weeks. I had a tub of misc wires on the side of my house and the water found its way in.
Anyway, I thawed the block of ice and removed the wire, Is this wire still usable? It appears that when I blow into the end , I can hear bubbling sounds, it is clear that this cable has some water still inside.

Junk it or let it dry more?

I just got a brand new 46 inch LED 8000 series samsung and a 3600 series Samsung Blu-Ray, don't wanna mess them up.

Maybe the cable would survive, but the component you plug it into may not, especially if any of that water leaks into the equipment.

Toss the cable. Don't bother risking it. Not matter what, water and electronics do not go together.

Sounds like you cryogenically treated the cable...should sound better now lol! But yeah it's not worth shorting out something in any of your equipment, get rid of it.
