    Cool Bi-Wiring Mistake - oops

    Well..............sometimes I make mistakes
    I purchased these great speakers - Klipsch SF2's (they really sound nice in my opinion).....now I would've sworn that I could bi-wire them....so I ordered a Canare 4s11...

BUT they are NOT....so now I have a Canare 4S11 cable - Bi-Wire capabl, just twisted the reds / whites together......what are your opions about this?, should I get another cable? or will this be ok?

    Thanks

    Hi Fluff,

could you return them and get their single wire cable? You did make a mistake in buying the wrong cable. So try a return.

    good luck,
    dan

    No, he didn't!

    Hi gonefishing

In reality, they are perfect cable for [single] run speaker connection. Using 4S11 cable in biwire configuration defeat their purpose as low noise speaker cables which 4S11 (Star Quad) are famous for. Just do a Google search on star quad cables.

So plug it in and enjoy

    http://www.bluejeanscable.com/store/...akerprices.htm
    and
    http://www.ramelectronics.net/html/speaker-cables.html

or ofcourse the original canare site:

They provide the cable in two setups - bi-wire and single
