    Advantage of Skew free CAT5?
I understand that the Skew is a time delay. The application is integrating a PC into a home theatre. Is skew free cat5 necessary? I have been asked to solve this one and I have no idea. Any thoughts are good thoughts here.

    Thanks

The speed of electron flow through a conductor is a substantial percentage of the speed of light. You are asking about a non-issue. Incidentally I have for years had my PC integrated into my A/V system and the time delay (sic) of cables has never been an issue. I have experienced some sync problems with speech and video with some DVD's and cable broadcasts but this is not wire related.http://forums.audioreview.com/images/icons/icon6.gif
