    in-wall vs standard speaker wire

I decided to install crown molding in my home theater. I can use the channel behind it to run my speaker wire around the room. At each speaker location I will fish the wire from the top of the wall (where the crown molding is) down to where each surround is mounted on the wall. This will make the room look nice and will make the wire runs easy.

I already ordered 200 feet of Speaker King 12 guage. Do I need to return it to get in-wall speaker wire?

And I don't know of any difference there could be.
