    22 gage audio cable (RCA) for subwoofer ?
    Any problem in using 24 feet 22 gage cable for subwoofer? My concern is is whther the cable is too long (24') for its thickness (22 gage). Will there be any audible difference between this cable and a Moster subwoofer cable?

    You are likely to lose an aweful lot of signal strength. Personally, I think that's just to small a cable to run to a subwoofer.

    Given the low price of 14 guage, I'd really recommend going to a store and getting some of that...$10 should be enough I would think.

    One thing I was not sure of by your post is rather you are using a sub-out jack to a powered subwoofer or the speaker-out to your sub?

    I would recommend one of the dedicated subwoofer cables from a cable manufacturer that you like.

    Use at least 14 awg, I would go with 12 personally, but 14 should work just fine

    I was thinking that a shielded interconnect cable would be better at carrying a low level signal from subout at preamp level to the powered subwoofer.

    John, you are correct. I didn't even read that he was going from the sub out to the amp on his sub.
