Now Playing: Now Playing: Ravel's Bolero Ravel's Bolero
This weekend, I had the privilige of exchanging a pair of Heresy II's for a pair of Forte II's, I have converted to the HII's to HIII's through the Klipsch conversion kit. I had forgotten the one maxim of speaker design, the bigger the cab the better the bass.

The Heresy has always had on little flaw, it has limited but tight bass line, this is not a problem wiith the Forte II, which is smooth down to 32 Hz, by smooth, I mean a detailed bass line, that is sonically distinctive. Alll horn loaded Heritage and products designed under PWK sound large and airy, including the Forte II, granted the tweeters have been repalced by new motors and titanium diaphrams, and the crossovers are now BEC, but these Forte II's like every other pair of Klipsch in my home sound fantastic.

They are powerfull, open and clear, just like the every other product made by Klipsch. I could never figure out why any one would buy somethng other than Klipsch and as a Klipschophile, a rare breed of Audiophile I appreciate the dynamics and clarity at both low and high volumes. Klipsch has always empasixed efficiency, and this really translates to clarity at all volume levels.
