    Where to get crossover plans?

    I've got all the drivers picked out for my system:

    Tweeters: Audax 3/4" shielded Titanium Dome #TM020J7
    Mids: Audax 5.25" Shielded Aerogel Midrange #AP130ZO
    Woofers: 12" Dayton Shielded DVC Subwoofer #295490
    (all on sale from partsexpress.com )

    My center will be two mids and a tweeter, the two fronts a tweeter, a mid, and a woofer, and the two rears a tweeter and a mid. I hope that the two 12's will suffice for low-end until I can afford to put in a real sub.

    Now my question is, where do I go to find crossover plans and parts? I've heard that madisound can do them, are there any others? And how much can I expect the rest of the materials run me?

    You need high pass for tweeter, band pass for midrange, and low pass for woofer.

    Sweet. Now, two questions.

    1. For my fronts (tweeter, mid, woofer), do I wire the crossovers in parallel from the

    2. How do I decide where to make the cutoff for each speaker's frequency? I know that each speaker has a range, but I read somewhere that the crossover point must be twice the Fs. I guess that just applies to the mid and tweeter, right?

    After a lot of research, I've decided to go with a design that I found on solen's website. Using components from Parts Express, I should be able to get the parts for about 60% of what Solen is charging!
