Cold Heat soldering iron

My girlfriend gave me one of these for my B-day. I tried it on some solder, it sparks and melts the stuff(when the circuit is completed through the material). kinda slick. im gonna try it on some wire after work today. see if it works, because it would definately be convienient.

I ordered it and it was on back order for months. I finally got it and the thing I needed it for was already gone. I have since had a use for it yet. It's sitting in one of my toolboxes as we speak. Let me know what your impressions are.
