    20 amp circuit

I have a neighbor who bought a new amplifier requiring it be on a 20 amp circuit. his equipment is on a dedicated 15 amp circuit. needless to say an uprgade is needed. since his electrical was brought up to code, what needs to be done? is it just a matter of replacing the 15 amp circuit breaker and replacing the outlet? or does the wiring need to be replaced as well?

i thank god i have my equipment on a 20amp, and dont neeed the upgrade. we seem to be in competition each year as he is trying to keep up with me.

    all 20

The circuit, beginning to end, must be code.
    20 amp circuit breaker
No smaller than 12 AWG wire
    20 amp receptacle
Probably best to run a whole new circuit dedicated to that system.
