2channel amp from av receiver question

Hi,got a question..I am going to but a 2 channel amp to drive my 2 front speakers using front left/right preouts on my 7 channel home av reciever. On my reciever I have the ability equalizer all speakers seperately(built in electronic equalizer). My concern is that by using a seperate amp to drive the fronts will my equalizer controls still be functional for the fronts through my av reciever pre-out jacks? Thanks for any help!

I'm not sure if I follow your question. Are you talking about automatic room equalization or matching spl levels? I suppose it doesn't matter as the simple answer is yes, you will still be able to do either.

Im talking about a graphic equalizer

Yes. All of the volume, bass management, and EQ controls are part of the receiver's pre-amp section, so you won't have any problems.
