I have a Poineer VSX D912K reciever( 110 per channel ) and an HSU STF-1 sub. I watch more movies than listen to music. The room is a bit large ( 14+16 ) and has a vaulted ceilling and is wired for speakers so i want to mount then on the walls, I spent most of the money for the sub and reciever. I have about $500 left. I have two set in mind - 4 JBL e20 and a JBL ec35 or HSU Ventriloquist VT-12, or if you have a suggestion I'm open. Thanks.
I would look at the Paradigm AtomV3 -- they are quite affordable and quite listenable for the money with decent presence. JBL is pretty much a disaster area for the most part based off what I've heard.
The Atoms are about $170.00Cdn a pair. Generally less.
You could also try Energy and Mission has a new cheaper satelitte set-up which might be nice as well. Make sure to listen for yourself though.

IMO I would stay away from small sats..I just cannot see how these can go much lower than 130 hz..If your Pioneer does not have an Adjustable Xover(most are set at 80 or 90HZ) then you are missing a big part of the signal..Look for a speaker that can play down to 80 or less...Here is a option you might want to give a listen within your buget..
