Ok, I've running a cheap philips 968 AV Receiver with my Klipsch SF-2's,KSC-C1, and Synergy surrounds for a couple of years and want to upgrade to a Denon.

I wan't to buy an older one online to save me some cash. I have been looking on ecost and pcmall for one in the $300-450 range.

Help me pick...1804,2802,2803, or 3802. I'm kind of leaning toward the 2802 at $319.

Thanks,
Andy

You can buy any as the Klipsch will be a cinch to drive. However, make sure the one you get has component video outs (preferably upconversion). This will allow you to put different video wires to your reciever and only one to your tv, projector, plasma, etc.

the denon are nice sound. i currently using the 1803 and i have klipsch sb 1.1s alarouns and ss.5 for rear center chanel. if u love the sound of klipsch then ull love the denon with them. but im getting ready to upgrade my speakers for more natural sounding speakers. but i say get the 1804 it has 90wpc and it will be new so there will be no problems
