I will be hooking up my new Yamaha HTR-5790 to a Sony TV that only has an S-Video input at best. Can I connect my DVD player and Digital Cable box via component cables to the receiver? And still yet hook up my TV with S-Video? I would hook everything up via S-Video, however I will be upgrading the TV to something with component cables in the future and I don't want to upgrade all of my cables again. I know the receiver can do upconversion of signals to component video but what about this "downconversion"?
