Anyone checked out the ones from Madisound vs. the Speaker City ones? Jut curious if I can one stop shop at Madisound now they sell some cabinets as well - if they compare favorably to the Speaker City ones that is.

In all honesty, I don't think it'd make a difference. I've heard more than a few testaments in favour of the Madisound cabinets, but I have no idea how much looks is involved. 3/4" MDF is 3/4" MDF. Neither are that great bad you can't build your own, it's fun, alot cheaper, and allows you to make these look great.

By the way, I finally finished the first 2 pairs...I started when...August? Geez...
4 pairs left, should be done by mid January.

These things completely destroy my Paradigm Studio 40 v.2' isn't even close. I also like these just a bit more than the PeeCreeks I built, but they're not bad either.

I am simply amazed at the great value of these speakers. Ed deserves a big thanks.

Thanks for the reply.

I wish I could make them myself but my wife and I live in a small condo and don't have the room for the tools required.

Are there people who make nice cabinets?

tks again!

Yes, there are some who would do this, but you're probably best off to go with Madisound's cabinets. They look good (especially black) and are probably cheaper than you having them built.
