Hi,
Over the years I've built a great 2 channel system (IMO), I love & am happy with most about it. A couple of years ago I bought a DVD player (Panasonic DV-37) that I used with that sytem with nice results.

I am now in the middle of a rehab of a basement room, it will become a HT room, among other things. I currently don't have the resources to spend tens of thousands on the sound system. I'm thinking of around $1,000 for a receiver, maybe about the same for a 5.1 system. I'm currently eyeing a Denon AVR-3803 receiver - I'm not sure about speakers.

A couple of years ago I bought a nice Titan II subwoofer from ACI, I just visited their site and see they have a 5.1 entry level package for under $1,000. They call it the ELT line and based on my experience w/ the company in the past, I'd guess it's better than most in that price range. Anyone have experience with this set up?

Thanks!
