Both my JVC and Sony VCRs have an "edit" function. The manuals say to turn it on when dubbing from one VCR to another to improve picture quality.
What does this "edit" function actually do?
I had to dubb some stuff from DVD to VHS using a S-video cable and I would almost swear the picture was better with the edit function turned off. Am I not looking at the right things?
