XM Radio Booster

I have a Delphi XM SKYFi Radio with the associated home kit that allows me to connect the unit to two RCA jacks on the back of my receiver. The problem is that the volume into the receiver is much lower than any other device (like my CD player or iPod). Has anyone else experienced this and how can I boost the volume into the receiver without breaking the bank?

Have you tried adjusting the gain setting? It is on the menu and it will boost the output.
