I love random/funny song titles. Also like really imaginative or evocative titles. They make bad songs almost suck less, and good songs better. Sometimes titles are an exact description of the contents within; others leave you wondering if the writer was just rifling thru a thesaurus.
Here are some of my faves:
"Desert Search For Techno Allah" by Mr. Bungle
"From A Buick Six" by Bob Dylan
"Her Eyes Are A Million Blue Miles," by Captain Beefheart
"Political Song For Michael Jackson To Sing," "The Roar Of The Masses Might Be Farts" by The Minutemen
"Teeth Like God's Shoeshine" by Modest Mouse
"Houses In Motion" by Talking Heads
"Mother Hold The Candle Steady While I Shave The Chicken's Lip" by King Crimson
"Broken Hearts Are For As<a>sholes," "My Guitar Wants To Kill Your Mama" by Frank Zappa
"Perfume Of A Critic's Burning Flesh" by John Zorn
"Black Steel In The Hour Of Chaos" by Public Enemy (<b>BADA<a>SS</b>)
"New Millenium Cyanide Christ" by Meshuggah
"The Piano Has Been Drinking, Not Me" by Tom Waits
"Weekend Sex Change" by Dillinger Escape Plan
"I've Been Riding With The Ghost" by Songs:Ohia
"Several Species Of Small Furry Animals Gathered Together In A Cave And Grooving With A Pict" by Pink Floyd (truth in advertising!)
"C. Thomas Howell As The Soul Man" by Botch
"As The World Dies The Eyes Of God Grow Bigger" by Sebadoh
"Live From The Russian Compound," "Anything Jesus Does I Can Do Better," Twenty-Three Lubed-Up Schizophrenics With Delusions Of Grandeur" by The Locust
"Tortoise's Brand Pot Scrubbing Cleaner's Theme" by Shonen Knife
"Satan's Ice Cream Truck" by Strapping Young Lad
"Atrocity Exhibition" by Joy Division
"Falco v. The Young Canoeist" by McLusky
"Jesus Built My Hotrod" by Ministry
"Extreme Noise Terror Are Afraid Of Us" by A.C. (no, that's not their full name, and printing it or most of their other song titles might cause me to get banned)
