So I've been somwhat happy with my ancient Sony STR-some-low-number-here. However, I know have three pieces using a component input and my TV only has 2. So I've been switching cables each time I need the 3rd piece and its a pain in the butt.
So I'm open to all recomendations concerning my new receiver (with 3 component inputs) but there's a key piece of info I don't understand.
"component video switching: 3 in, 1 out (50MHz bandwidth)" What bandwidth should I be concerned with. This one was $400, however, for another $400 I double the bandwidth (OOOoooo) and have no idea if that will translate into a difference in my picture (HD TV/DVDs).
Anyone care to help me out here?
