I have finally narrowed my choice of receivers down to Rotel 1056/1067. Does anyone know of any quality issues I should be concerned about with Rotel? Also is the 1067 worth the extra $$$ for the extra power? My system is staying 5.1 but I could use the extra 2 amps in mult-zone application. Speakers are B&W 6.2 s3's.

I would go to rotel's seperates line with a rmb1075/rsp1068 combo. You'd only be stepping up $500. I think this will offer a lot more flexibility in the future and better power.

both models are very nice units however I've experienced video problems on two separate installations with the 1067. Both jobs utilized the Rotel for video switching from cable box and from DVD player. When the customers watched HD programming from cable a thin red line appeared at the top of the display ( 50" Pioneer plasma and a 60" Zenith plasma). Since i'm not a Rotel dealer, tech support wasn't much help so we just ran the cable signal directly to the display ( red line disappeared) and reprogrammed the Prontos' to keep switching simple.I shall assume that these are isolated incidence since both customers purchased thier receivers from the same place ( some web site whose adress i can't recall)
