What cable should I buy

I'm new to HTS and not an electroncs whiz. I'm building an entry level HTS and I just got a new entry level reciever harman kardon AVR325.
What kind of speaker cables should I get. I don't want to spend Thous$$$$$$ of dollars. Please post website.
What does the term interconections mean?

Usually generic 12 Guage speaker wire will work fine from Home Depot, PartsExpress.com, Radioshack, Target etc.. $.30/ft is a good price.

Interconnects are the cables that connect separate pieces of powered equipment like DVD to Reciever.

same thing for you inters...buy some from ratshack or wallmart just make sure they are gold plated or tipped.
