Help with HDMI

Hi all,

Can I use a HDMI dvd player (Panasonic S97 or Tohisba ??) with my Toshiba 50H81. I believe my TV only has component input. Does anyone make a cable converting HDMI to component?

Do you have the player already? There is no such thing as an adaptor from HDMI to component that I know of. Sorry dude you're out of luck unless of course the player has component outputs.

Max power is right. You can convert HDMI to DVI with an adaptor (and the reverse) but not to component video.
