I bought some Bravox 3.5 in drivers as a buyout several months ago.

I am thinking about buying these tweeters that are on sale.

I can go with a 6liter closed box that will have a f3 of about 125hz.or a vented 6 liter tuned to 85hz with a f3 of 71 hz..This is with 2 drivers wired in parallel. To my understanding this should show a 6 ohm load and a 6db spl boost..This should bring both woofers and tweeter to 89DBs.These calculations came from winisd..I am new at this and have built 2 or 3 pairs using buy ot nsbs and such..I was thinking 2 order butterworth at 2500..Any help on box size, Xover suggestions ,and mismatches would be helpful Thanks Lee.

these drivers are going to take a lot of work on the crossover design to take out those peaks and dips. I'm not an expert on xover design but you may post this message at PE tech talk and someone may have a design already. Looks like the 3.5" driver is more suited to midrange use say from 500hz on up to the tweeter crossover than for woofer duty. You many be able to get some decent computer speakers out of them with a proper crossover design. Vented will get you a little lower but the peaks and dips are even worse using vented over sealed. I'm sure this is not what you wanted to hear but if your looking at making a decent two way then you need a bigger woofer (say 6.5" or min of 5.5").

Thanks I had seen this but kinda wanted to come up with somthing using the Dayton tweeter...Xover and TB tweeters would be over $ 75.A little high considering I have $3 each in the drivers..
Thanks for the help...
