Anybody know where I can find some info on some old Marantz speakers? I think they are vintage late 70s maybe early 80s. They are 3-way floor standers with what looks to be a 10", (I don't have them in front of me, they are at home on the other side of the state). They are listed as the Prestige series.

Marantz is not known as a speaker manufacturer. A friend of mine still has a pair of Marantz 8" three-ways (those are not floorstanders, but they are bigger and wider than typical bookshelf models of today) and those things don't sound too good IMO. Most of the ones listed on the vintage Marantz website are listed as extremely rare, but I don't know if that means that they would command the kind of high resale value that you see with their vintage tuners and amps. Anyway, here's the link.

Hello ibhkilla!
Most of their speaks were so-so at best, however a couple are fairly well regarded.
I'd search marantz speaker* here:
www.audiokarma.org
and here:
www.audioasylum.com
and of course ebay.
Good Luck!!

D'oh!! I tried searching audiokarma for you but 'cause of server issues their search is dead. Try next week.
