Hey brand new to these forums. Didnt see a place to post about selling and buying but thought id give this a try. I have a McIntosh MX110 that my friend wants to sell. He cant use the computer so i told him id look online for it. We have no idea what a price range would be. We want it to go to somone who is collecting these because it has been in his family for a while any help on price or selling forums would be grate.
I would post your question at the higher end forum audioasylum.com(don't need to register).
There are dealers there that may be able to provide info. McIntosh has certain amps that are very popular and fetch a high price - others not so. If the McIntosh is one of the tubed units you may do very well indeed. http://www.audioasylum.com/audio/index.html
You can also try the blue book http://www.orionbluebook.com/orionnew/Index.asp
and Audiogon which is where the audiophiles sell stuff. You may see what other units are going for - http://www.audiogon.com/
and of course E-bay.

I believe you can expect to get $500 - $600 fairly easily.
Original retail was $400.00 in 1962
Hope that helps
