Does anybody out there own the Sony DVP-NC685V DVD/CD player? If so, what do you think about it? Pros/cons?
In my quest to find a CD/DVD player that plays many formats (including DVD+R/RW) and that will randomly shuffle between all songs on all discs, I am seriously looking at this one.
Would love to know how the random shuffle works. I've heard some rumors that it is so slow between songs, it's almost not worth using. What do you think?
Also, (and I almost hate to say this here), but I don't see myself taking advantage of the SACD capability on this. (Forgive me, audiophiles!!!) If I just play my regular CD's on the machine, does it work equally well? Again, I heard rumors of tracks being dropped and the like when just playing regular CD's. True, or no?
