Been doing a little surfing over on amazon and landed on The Music That Wouldn't Die and most of it sounded preety hot. Anyone here heard of 'em?

I have had it for a while and it's a little to foo-foo/fluff/noodling for me to really like, it's kind of like a second rate Flower Kings disc, similar to them and also to Kaipa.

But you may like it a lot, some people do on other websites.

Yeah, like Dave, I see it as Flower Kings lite. It has a few great moments but it's really nothing new, nothing compelling.

Many people consider it one of the best prog album of 2003 tho, so YMMV.

Just spun this to refresh my memory. Echoing the others, it's like TFK only with better keys work. Enjoyable but too much noodling and the vocals are similar to TFK. I'm not sorry I bought it, but it's not essential. There are several spots where it borders on the excellent, but they're too frugal with the excellentness to call it a must have.
With a little more work on the songs this could have been something special.
