Nad 3140 only playing our of the right.

Just plugged my scruffy technics turntable into my just purchased 2nd hand 3140 int amp and it only plays out of the right!

i've swapped the leads about and tried different inputs, different speaker outputs and it's the amp.

any suggestions?

take the cover off the amp by removing the back and bottom screws, there should be several fuses for each channel on the board, check them...I have had this happen before and luckily it was only a fuse :)

you may get lucky or it could be a deeper problem...
