i have my adcom 555 hooked up to my computer which is acting like my pre-amp is this ok? will this end up breaking my adcom or my computer?

I'm moving your post to the correct forum. If you're referring to the GFA-555 amp, and you have it connected to the line level out on your soundcard, that should be fine.
