Hey Big D. Nice to see ya!

That site is both depressing and funny at the same time.

But yeah, not Yech.

Yechy woulda mentioned you have to accept Los Lobos as your personal savior to enter the kindom of God.

Prog must be good if someone with the intellectual agility of a small soapdish finds it wicked.

I suspect the website, like yech is a put on.

Nice to see you back in the posting bizness D.

That's hilarious! I think that #29 was written with DaveG in mind....

29. you think "Beatlemania" is for pathetic hangers-on, yet you've seen "The Musical Box" six times.

:D

"Progressive rock has also connections with the worshippers of the dark world.

Band names are obvious references - or how do names like KING CRIMSON, GENTLE GIANT or FAUST sound to you???

The music has a very occult atmosphere. Inhuman rhythms and harmonies make the listener go crazy and let the darkness come inside him or her.

Satanic or occultistic figures can be found on the album covers, too. For example, Yeti by Amon Duul II has got the Grim Reaper in its cover. Their album called Phallus Dei can be translated as "The penis of God" which is just pure blasphemy.
Lyrical blasphemy can be found too. A british progressive rock artist called Ian Anderson wrote an album called Aqualung with his group Jethro Tull in 1971.
It has tracks My God and Hymn 43, lyrics of which you all should read - at your own risk!
The title of Jesus he loves me by Genesis may sound good, but the lyrics are just blasphemous.

The court of the Crimson King by King Crimson tells about a vision seen
in drug trip; the poetic wanders to Hell and meets the Crimson King, also known as Satan! They have also an album called Starless and Bible Black.

There are also bands which mix progressive rock and heavy metal music.
And this is very dangerous, because you all may well know about the dangers
of Heavy Metal! Such bands are Dream Theater, Pain of salvation (not the Christian salvation, it's not painful like satanic "salvation") and Fates warning.

Many readers have pointed out that there are so-called Christian progressive rock bands. I'm very sceptical about them. It's as paradoxal as so-called "Christian Heavy Metal". I think the pseudo-Christianity is just a bait, the listeners will then get into the "real stuff".

A musical culture, which adores the Dark side CAN'T be good to the young people!
Parents should obserev what their children are listening to! "

This guy is brilliant...........can't believe Kerry picked Edwards over this dude.
