Dude, those are some serious skeletons in your closet. I'm amazed that you would willingly admit to owning the stuff. ; P

Seriously though, there are a few discs out of that stack that you should probably keep. That Blue Man Group disc, I think, is pretty good. If you don't like the vocals (Dave Matthews..ugh!) you should check out their instrumental album Audio. Spiritualized, Arrested Development, Buena Vista Social Club, and Pearl Jam (particularly Vs.) aren't horrible either.

The T-Heads rule. I'd keep that album if I were you. I kinda like June Carter Cash, though I can understand if country isn't your thing. The rest of the albums I didn't recognize. Hey, you like what you like; if my advice sounds like I'm being an asshole I apologize. : ) Oh, and welcome dewd.

You can unload the stuff you don't like here, at the Classifieds: http://marketplace.consumerreview.com/cgi-bin/classifieds/classifieds.pl?db=Audio&website=AudioReview
Of course, there's also E-Bay and local stores might be willing to take them off your hands too.

Just to prove I'm not a complete jerk, I'll be helpful and give you some bands we Rave Reccers like. Might want to check 'em out to replace the yawning gaps in your collection after getting rid of the old stuff:

Lali Puna
Porcupine Tree
Calexico
The Wrens
Wilco
Broken Social Scene
Neutral Milk Hotel
Dismemberment Plan
Dream Theater (prog alert!)
Peter Gabriel-era Genesis (prog alert!)
Kansas (Dave G. likes 'em)
Opeth (WARNING: Contains death metal-style vocals)
Tool
King Crimson
Pink Floyd (I'm sure you've got SOMETHING by them already)
Joy Division
The Jesus Lizard (well, Jar loves 'em anyway)

This is just a short list. Hang around a bit and you'll find more music you might dig.

Thanks for the input.
I guess the fact that I don't list all the CD's I have makes it easy for you to assume a few wrong things. I have over 1500 CD's. I have Calexico, Wrens, all Wilco, BSS, Joy Division, etc. from your list. I recently have bought Cooper Temple Clause, iron and Wine, Devandra Banhart, Walkmen etc. Yes, I do have some CD's that I am not proud of . . hence trying to offload them.

Thanks again for your input. Sounds like you are fairly up to speed on some decent music.

if you want to trade for June Carter Cash let me know.
