Howdy all,
I've been trying to get my BIC V1020 to play through my SR373 and have had little success. I get only a trickle of bass when I put my hand on the bottom, and only with the sub volume at 10. The sub rumbles well through the "test tones" and "AccuEQ" auto calibration. For reference, I have the receiver hooked up to my PC via HDMI cable.
Here's what I've done to far:
confirm front speakers are set to "small"
confirm "EQ" and "late night" are set to "off"
tried both receiver sub outputs
set crossover to all levels (200, 150, 80, 50)
sub is set to "on"
sub crossover set to ~80
sub phase set to "0"
receiver set to "digital 5.1, 7.1, 9.1"
"HDMI" on receiver set to "amp"
"EQ" set to "off"
When the sub is set to "auto" the power light is red. I knew this wouldn't be a cake walk to set up, but lately I've been getting discouraged.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!
Cheers!
