I purchased a lightly used NAD t762 on ebay for what i considered a good price. It is my first mid-level? reciever. I've always been a stereo junkie but im only 21 so it was only recently that i learned about the craze. So i wanted to hear peoples opinion on this subject? For recievers/preamps that have a standby mode that will shut power off to the amps and things while still being "on" (Physical power button still on); Is it better fully power off using the power button or would it just not be worth it? The idea is extending the life of the reciever. I don't use any triggers btw.
Thanks for any help!
