ConsumerREVIEW.com, the leading source of user-generated buying advice for outdoor sporting goods and consumer electronics, is seeking a passionate audiophile to take AudioREVIEW.com, one of the largest audio and home theater sites on the Internet, to the next level.<ul>Responsibilities:<li>Be the in-house expert in home audio and home theater and use that expertise to define and drive the current and future direction of AudioREVIEW.com.<li>Day-to-day management of the site including monitoring product reviews and message boards to maintain high quality content and user interaction.<li>Ensure the site is up-to-date with the latest relevant products.<li>Grow traffic to the site through search engine optimization, grass roots marketing and other programs. <li>Work with manufacturers, related web sites and other members of the audio and home theater industry to build lasting relationships and promote AudioREVIEW.com.<li>Work closely with the Sales team to increase advertising revenue for the site. <li>Work closely with the engineering and other Channel Managers to develop new features to enhance the user experience and increase revenue. <li>Travel to Audio industry tradeshows to meet manufacturers and provide tradeshow coverage. <li>Some work and oversight on CarREVIEW.com and VideoGameREVIEW.com is required. About 20% of your time. </ul><ul>Requirements:<li>Passion for home audio and home theater. Proven knowledge of mid-to-high end home audio and home theater. Previous employment in the audio industry or audio industry contacts is a plus.<li>Previous work building and managing mid-size Internet web sites.<li>Fluent in HTML and Photoshop.<li>Excellent communication, organization and time management skills.<li>Self-motivator with an entrepreneurial spirit. <li>BA/BS with a minimum of 3-5 years relevant work experience. </ul>Compensation includes base salary and profit sharing.
