In alphabetical order, and well over 100, but what the hell. I'm not sure how I'd rank these, but some are creatively and professionally inferior to others, which indicates that movies with especially appealing stories or film elements can get on my short list. Also more recent movies tend to get rated higher so the oldies on the list are more likely to be truly great. I can enjoy almost any type of movie, but try harder to find good things in Sci Fi or Fantasy films. There could be great foreign language movies that I don't know about, but I probably would tend to rate them lower anyway unless they're really exceptional and can break the language barrier. The Seven Samurai and Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon are the only ones like that on my list, so far.

7th Voyage of Sinbad - favorite childhood movie still has magic
Abyss
Adventures of Robin Hood - one of the very best swashbucklers
Alien
Aliens - similar yet different to the original, and often better
American Beauty - great acting and story albeit a diminishing lame ending
Back to the Future
Baron Munchausen - underrated fantasy
Blade II
Blade Runner - the unique atmosphere takes it over the top
Blade
Blazing Saddles - there's too many classic gags here to leave it off the list.
Braveheart - only movie on the list that has nostril flaring by lead actor.
Brazil
Bridge on the River Kwai
Carnival of Souls - 2nd best of the old psychological horror films
Cleopatra 1963
Clerks
Clockwork Orange
Close Encounters
Conan the Barbarian
Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon
Das Boot
Day the Earth Stood Still
Die Hard
Dune - This would've been a great 6 hour movie, but 3 is not enough
Elizabeth - an exceptional modern costume drama
Empire of the Sun
Excalibur - Glitches and all, a great medieval fantasy
Fifth Element
Finding Nemo - Goofy fish make it better than most animation
Forbidden Planet - Way ahead of its time; source of many Sci Fi icons
Forrest Gump
Fugitive
Full Metal Jacket
Gandhi - Kingsley makes the film doing a great Gandhi
Gettysburg
Ghostbusters
Gladiator - brilliant staging hides ahistorical derivative story
Godfather
Goldfinger - best of the old Bond films
Goodfellas - top notch gangster movie

Hamlet (1990) - Shakespeare for the masses, like me.
Hard Times - a great rock 'em, sock 'em fight movie
Hulk - best computer character (besides Gollum)

Intolerance - best silent film I've seen
Jason and the Argonauts - Some think its the best Harryhausen movie

Jurassic Park - I wanted the dinosaurs to win
Kill Bill - I think it should've stayed as one movie
LA Confidential - Its got that gritty cop/detective movie aura
Last of the Mohicans - Native American Ninja warriors!
Lawrence of Arabia
Little Big Man - A really good story about the west, without being a western.
Lord of the Rings Fellowship Ext. - Truly magical beginning
Lord of the Rings/Two Towers Ext. - frantic pace, suffering Frodo & Gollum
Lord of the Rings Return of the King - fitting climax tho a bit sad
Magnificent Seven - Possibly the best western of all, even with copped story
Mary Poppins - practically perfect in every way
Matrix - raised the bar for modern action filming
Men in Black
Minority Report - very interesting speculations on future tech
Monsters Inc.
Moulin Rouge - mesmerizing dance numbers put it on the list

Unforgiven - great modern western

I think you're forgetting Dragonheart.

Yes that was a good one, back in the days when it wasn't common. Now there's almost too much CGI and not enough story.

No, what I mean is, I think the dragon in Dragonheart is the best computer character ever. The way they mapped the dragon's face to some human's (Sean Connery's? Not sure -- I know he does the voice, I think he did the face as well) gave it that anthropomorphic human quality that has yet to be surpassed.

Although Gollum was quite good as well, probably for the same reasons.

Hulk? The CGI was good but the screen swapping was beyond irritating. Completely took away from the story. What are the qualifications for the list? For example, Star Trek wouldn't make most any list while most would argue of those movies either Wrath of Khan or Voyage Home was the best of the Star Trek genre.

Some of mine (in no particular order and not comprehensive list):

Lord of the Rings trilogy
Godfather trilogy
Lawrence of Arabia
Lion King
Star Wars: ESB
Braveheart
Apollo 13
Saving Private Ryan
Schindler's List
Tora! Tora! Tora!
Shawshank Redemption
Platoon
Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon
The Pianist
Pulp Fiction
The Philadelphia Story
Grapes of Wrath
Gone with the Wind
The Green Mile
Raiders of the Lost Ark
Ben-Hur
The Ten Commandments
Planet of the Apes (original version)
2001: A Space Odyssey
Gladiator
E.T.
Groundhog Day
Pirates of the Carribean
The Sixth Sense
Shrek
The Passion of the Christ
The Silence of the Lambs
The Wizard of Oz
Finding Nemo
Toy Story 2
Bambi
Psycho
Terminator 2
Bridge on the River Kwai
Die Hard
L.A. Confidential
It's A Wonderful Life
Citizen Kane
The Matrix
Beauty and the Beast
Miracle on 34th Street (original version)
Sparticus
Titanic
Jaws
Jurassic Park
Blazing Saddles

Actually, we have quite a few movies in common on our short lists, its just that my short list is longer. Star Trek IV is my favorite of the Star Treks. As far as the Hulk goes, I liked the actors and musta been in the mood for a pissed off green guy :)
