Budget reciever under $500

I really need help for a budget reciever for 500 or under. The recieve needs to have pre-amp outputs for a crown amp and klipsch cabinet speakers. I dont need any fancy but i would like the best reciever for the price that has good durability. 5.1 surround is all i need. I can't think of anything else that can be relivant but if you need more information just tell me. There are just too many recievers out there for me to go though. Thanks ahead of time.

The harman kardon AVR 230 has preouts and just in case gives you 7.1. Here is a link

these can be purchased on ebay for about $300-$350 with full manufacturer warranty. Just make sure the company is harman audio onlinne.

The H/K poneal sugessted looks fine. Another one to lok at is some Marantz receivers. If you want a refurbished one from an authorized dealer, go to accessories4less.com. I bought mine from there and it looks and plays like its brand new. If you want a brand new one, but obviously more money check out hifi.com for them. Both are reputable brands, and the two sites I listed usually get good praise. Good luck.
