This is my first post here so I hope I'm posting on the right place.
I have a Numark PT-01 that I've bought a few months ago and I really like it.
But some things can't be ignored. First the "ceramic" cartridge that as you all know doesn't have a good sound quality. I use an amplifier made for a ceramic cartrige to correct the sound and comply with RIAA specs but the sound still not great.
So I went to my local ebay and found two models that I think may be a good replacement.
The first is the AIWA PX-E850 and the second is the SL-L20 by Technics with the tracking mecanism.
Which one is gonna give me a better sound? I think this Technics model is way too cheap for a turntable with tracking and the AIWA is more expansive. I've checked a lot of auctions and the difference is usually the same.
What are your thoughts?
Thanks!
